Stashbuster Quilt Pattern PDF
Here's a super-fast quilt project with squares and sashing! All sales are donated to Food Pantries across the United States. In 2025 we donated to the LA Food Bank, the Methodist Church in the Hill Country in Texas, and locally in Wisconsin.
The video walk-through of me making one block is here.
The instructions are the SAME no matter what size you make. The pattern graphic shows 6 squares across and 6 squares tall = 61.5" sq quilt. If you make it 8 across and 8 tall, the quilt will be 81.5" sq.
Fabric Requirements:
I used 1.5 yds of stripe on my quilt, however I did more than 64 squares. For the intended instructions, 1.25 yds is sufficient non-directionally if piecing the left and bottom borders.
The Main Fabric squares are intended as “stash busters” so you can use up whatcha have. For those who need numbers, the yardage is approx 2.5 yards.
